Singles hit for Macklemore & Lewis
US rapper Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have landed their third consecutive No.1 single in Australia as Can't Hold Us rises one place to take out the top spot on this week's ARIA Singles Chart. Not since Kylie Minogue in 1987/88 (with Locomotion, I Should Be So Lucky and Got to Be Certain) has an act had their first three singles all go to No.1. A year ago Passenger' Let Her Go made the Top 100 for a single week at No.90. The same week a year later the song returns to the charts at No.56, last week it jumped to No.23, but this week it zooms up 21 places to No.2 thanks to his current tour Down Under. Passenger's album All the Little Lights returns to its original entry position of No.9 this week too. After four broken weeks at No.1, Pink and Nate Ruess fall back three places to No.3 with Just Give Me a Reason, and falling back one place to No.5 is Rihanna and Stay.
