Kylie Minogue shimmers as she promotes her new movie Holy Motors in floorlength black sequinned dress

She's spent the last two and a half decades concentrating on her music career.
But now Kylie Minogue is setting out to promote her new movie showing her acting in front of the camera once more.
And she ensured she did it in style as the pop princess turned out to Tuesday night's Holy Motors premiere in London dazzling in a floorlength sequinned gown.

The singer showed off her physique in the shimmering Dolce & Gabbana frock, while she accessorised with silver high heels.
Minogue completed the look off with her hair worn down, smokey eye make-up and matching sparkling earrings.
She was all smiles as she showed up to the Curzon Mayfair for the big evening to promote the film, which also stars Denis Lavant.

The Australian star proved popular as she was helped along the road with her female helper who carried a large bunch of flowers for her.
And after striking her perfect poses for the cameras she cosied up to director Leos Carax, who looked cool in shades and a winter coat for the event.
The French sci-fi film features Minogue in one of her few movie roles - she has previously starred in The Delinquents (1989) and Street Fighter (1996).

Of course, she famously leaped to fame in 1986 playing Charlene Robinson in Neighbours.
T is a sci-fi fantasy about a man played by Lavant who travels between multiple parallel lives.
Minogue plays a character called Eva Grace, while Eva Mendes also stars but was absent form the London screening.
Premiere time: Director Leos Carax was also on hand to join Minogue at the London premiere on Tuesday evening
