Kylie Minogue's underwear fetches 5000 for charity

A lingerie set the singer wore for a photoshoot for a charity calendar has surpassed all expectation

A set of lingerie once worn by pop princess Kylie Minogue has been sold for 5000 at a London auction.

The underwear, a red silk set by La Perla, were expected to fetch a top figure of 4000, but far surpassed the estimate in the Christies sale.

The singer donned the underwear for a photoshoot for the Study Fox Foundations 2012 calendar, and were sold to an unnamed fan of the Aussie, who is no doubt now the very happy owner of skimpies that they know have been on Minogues body. Yes, it is as creepy as it sounds.

Minogue took to her Twitter account following the sale, posting, Thanks to the mystery buyer. Wow. So thrilled and for a great cause.
