Aussie stars react to Boston bombings

Kylie Minogue has joined a list of Australian stars to post messages of support for the Boston Marathon victims.

As images of devastation and panic make their way onto news websites around the world - Australia's music, TV and film stars have been echoing their shock on social media.

'Sending love #PrayForBoston,' Minogue tweeted.

Model and TV presenter Megan Gale wrote: 'Watching seeing what has happened in Boston. What an awful tragedy. Thoughts prayers are with the victims their families.'

Singer Ricki-Lee wrote: 'Sending all my love and thoughts to the people of #Boston right now - watching this footage is just horrifying'.

Australian boy group the Janoskians have retweeted an image of an eight-year-old girl killed in the bombings. 'There might be terrible people on earth but heaven is full of angels like you(3 #PrayForBoston,' the caption read underneath the picture.

LA-based Rove McManus, The Voice Australia judge Joel Madden and Irish singer Ronan Keating have all echoed similar sentiments in messages posted on the social networking site.
