Aussie pop princess Kylie has changed her hair more than weve had hot dinners since her Neighbours poodle perm.

And last week she was sporting brunette tresses for a new film role.

Here we chart Kylies life through her different dos.

1987

The young child star won our hearts (and Jason Donovans) in her Neighbours heyday playing Charlene Robinson with her bouncing blonde curls that sent us all reaching for the hair mousse and having dodgy home perms.

1989

The blonde curls get a severe chop as the girl-next-door ditches her clean-cut image and goes all rock and roll when she starts dating INXS lead singer Michael Hutchence. She went short and curly instead - not too dissimilar to her lovers locks.

1995

Kylie duets with Nick Cave on Where the Wild Roses Grow and unveils a sultry new image to go with her new sexier sound. Her hair is even shorter and slick and makes her look more grown-up.

1996

Kylie releases her latest album Impossible Princess and unveils a short dark gamine crop. She looks like a futuristic pixie on her album cover with her hair spiked up and dramatic makeup to match.

1999

Kylie crosses over to the dark side for the first time and divides admirers with her long straightened brunette locks. In classic Kylie style she pulls it off and looks as glam as ever.

2002

Kylie meets French actor Olivier Martinez and decides to lighten up and goes back to her blonde best. She looks tres chic with a new sexy tousled look.

2006

! Followin g her treatment for breast cancer Kylie wears an array of stylish headwear while her hair grows back. When its long enough, she sports a super chic Mia Farrow style crop.

2008

Following her split from Olivier, Kylie releases her 10th studio album X and the blonde is back with a new short bob and sleek fringe - its a sophisticated look as she heads towards her 40th birthday.

2010

With a spring in her step as she shows off her new hot Spanish model boyfriend Andres Velencoso, Kylie embraces her long blonde curls once again. Her youthful flirty look defies their 10-year age gap.

2011

Receiving an honorary degree last week for her work promoting breast cancer awareness Kylie hits the bottle and goes brunette like her sister Dannii. But dont worry its not for good, its for a role shes filming in Paris.
