Kylie Minogue: Dannii Is Concentrating On Her Baby 'After Heartbreak And Disappointment'

Kylie Minogue has said that her sister Dannii is "going through a really difficult time" since her split with model Kris Smith, and now she is concentrating on being a good mother to their son Ethan.

The 40-year-old star, who picked up Outstanding Contribution award at the Glamour awards earlier this week, has said that caring for their son Ethan was the pair's "number one priority" especially after the "heartbreak and disappointment".

Following the split, Kris tried to reach out to the former X Factor judge on Twitter by praising her design achievements but Dannii gave him the cold shoulder, leading many to believe that they were on bad terms. He later lashed out at her fans that though he should leave Dannii alone.

Kylie has insisted that the couple are "amicable" and her sister is "being pragmatic", and "will be alright".

Talking to Glamour magazine, Kylie said: "She and Kris have been amicable, and after heartbreak and disappointment, then it's just organisation, concentrating on Ethan.

"We just have normal sister chats when we can - and that's all you need to know, that your sister's there. If she called me and said, 'I'm really flipping out, I need to see you,' I'd be on a plane tonight.

"But Dannii is tough... Dannii will be all right. Of course she'll be all right."

Kylie even touched on her sister Dannii's affair with X Factor boss Simon Cowell, as news broke shortly after the couple split up! . Kylie admits the book release was awful timing.

"It was a bit of a second blow after, 'Oh, my relationship has broken down'," she said.
