KUALA LUMPUR -Bad news for Malaysian F1 fans Kylie Minogue will not take centrestage in Kuala Lumpur this weekend due to an alleged contractual dispute between Petronas, the chief organiser of the Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix, and Enterprise Entertainment Ltd, the London-based company responsible for the F1 Rocks entertainment extravaganza.

The F1 Rocks franchise came under fire last year for failing to bring legendary rock band Metallica for the inaugural Airtel Grand Prix of India as scheduled.

But since the show must go on, Jojo Events Sdn Bhd has been brought in at the last hour to keep the crowd feeling pumped up at the Grand Prix.

American R&B star Kelis, who was originally scheduled to perform on Saturday, is expected to be joined by Nicole Scherzinger and a yet-to-be announced Korean pop band for the F1 concert series, now repackaged as Twin Towers @Live 2012.

The two-day free concert will be held at Petronas Twin Towers, the same venue as the cancelled F1 Rocks.
