Kylie Minogue Dismisses The Voice Rumours

Kylie Minogue has dismissed rumours she will be following her sister Dannii into the world of Tv talent shows by replacing Keith Urban on the Australian version of The Voice.

The country star recently quit the reality show Down Under to take up a place on the newly-revamped panel of American Idol, leaving producers on the Australian show searching for a replacement.

Aussie singer Minogue has long been rumoured as the front-runner for the job, but the star insists she has no plans to take on the role, which would put her in direct competition with her sister, Dannii, who is a judge on Australia's Got Talent.

Minogue says, "To my knowledge, no, I'm not doing The Voice next year... Unless my management haven't told me about it. I know nothing about it. Maybe it's in the junk email box."

However, the star doesn't rule out tackling a reality Tv role in the future, adding, "It just hasn't felt like the right thing for me to do yet. It may only be a matter of time, who knows? Those shows are going to keep happening every year for the foreseeable future. I'm a fan of those shows."
