Australian singer Kylie Minogue releases music video for 'Timebomb' and new greatest hits set (video)

In honor of 25 years in the music business, Australian singer Kylie Minogue released a music video for her latest single, Timebomb, last month. Minogue will also release a greatest hits set, The Best of Kylie Minogue, this month in the U.S., celebrating her momentous occasion.

After a series of fan-engaging activities to release Timebomb worldwide, Minogue unleashed the song and music video on iTunes.

The clip starts with Minogue in a traditional music video shoot for the song, but then afterword she takes to the streets of London. Minogue walks through London's alleyways and hits up an underground club. In between scenes, Minogue is featured in front of a white background as she moves to her new dance track. Timebomb culminates to a scene where Minogue rides away on a motorcycle. This fun clip is an indication that Minogue isn't slowing down any time soon with 25 years of music business experience behind her.

Billboard also reports that Minogue will release a greatest hits album this month in the U.S. The album cover features Minogue in a leather jacket with buttons pinned to it representing each of her past albums. Like the buttons, the album will feature Minogue's biggest tracks from throughout the years.

Minogue also performed for United Kingdom's queen yesterday for the all-star Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert. The pop star was among acts like Paul McCartney, Elton John, Robbie Williams, Stevie Wonder, and other big names.

In the U.S., Minogue is mostly known for her breakout hit, Can't Get Yo! u Out of My Head, which was a top ten hit in 2002. Her biggest hit stateside remains to be her 1987 cover of Loco-Motion, which peaked at number three on the singles chart.
