Kylie Minogue Gets Soaked For Jubilee Concert

Stars have given up a lot to play for Her Majesty the Queen, but few will have had the hardship of Kylie Minogue, whose rehearsal for tonight's concert at Buckingham Palace was interrupted by a downpour that saw the Aussie star take desperate action and reach for a poncho style mac to keep her from suffering watery embarrassment.

Kylie tweeted about her problems with the inclement weather, writing: "Jubilee rehearsals #wetwetwet," show organiser Gary Barlow wasn't going to let the dreadful weather get him down, though he did tweet about his intimidation at working with Beatles legend Paul McCartney.

Stars performing at the spectacular royal knees-up include Jessie J, Ed Sheeran and Sir Elton John and the bad weather doesn't look likely to put off the 10,000 who are heading to the pallace to join in the celebrations.

The concert aims to span all ages of music, using the Pallace as a backdrop to provide a touch of class to proceedings, with Kylie having to run for cover after rehearsing her set though perhaps the stars would rather be somewhere a little warmer.
